The approach to this site is interesting as you have to ignore signs saying no vehicles past this point in order to get in (they do warn you about this in the handbook!). It is situated in a Country Park with lakes, house you can visit etc. Sounds idyllic ? Erm, well........ The other half of the story is that it is very close to busy roads and is not as peaceful as it might sound!

The site is quite attractive, rabbits and squirrels abound and there are the usual high quality facilities you expect on a club site.

Being in the Country Park, you have to arrive before the Park gates are locked - contact the site for times. Once you are booked in they give you a key to allow access when required.

But, would I return, almost certainly not. If I did, it would only be an overnight stop - I like my sites a bit quieter than this - I live next to the M25 and my garden is quieter than this site was!
